A Baby Shower

For everyone who has been reading my blog, you know my last few posts were full of stressful banter. I want to thank you for your patience while I have been indulging my whiny gene. Hopefully, this period is over. I myself am looking forward to better days and happier posts...
So, here is the first piece of good news. A friend of mine, a very nice lady, is going to be a mom soon. She is expecting a girl, and last week she invited me to her baby shower. I took my trusty hook and crocheted her a baby afghan...

Although I was in hurry, the blanket came out really even. What a pleasant surprise. But the most important thing - the future mom liked it!
To everyone who is reading my posts, I thank you and wish you a pleasant week.
Until next time.

  1. What a lovely afghan! I envy your skill (my crochet is still on the wonky side). Is the teddy bear part of the present? Very cute! Ps. I`m happy that you`re "back on track" :)))

  2. Thank you! No, the teddy is just modeling for the picture, it's my daughter's. We did include another stuffed toy with the blanket though. :)

  3. Hi Katya

What a lovely baby blanket, I love the stitch you have used. Very sad to read about your niece's baby, what a dreadful thing for your family.. and do hope your daughter's lip has healed without a scar.. and your stitching looks good.
    Happy Stitching
